The chalet is located in Whitsand Bay on the South Cornish Coast, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is south facing and on the cliffside, looking out towards The English Channel. Parking for cars is available approximately 250m walk away. Below the chalet are the sandy beaches of Whitsands where safe swimming areas of the beach are patrolled by lifeguards. |

Local Area Whitsand Bay is a 15 minute drive from the A38, the main trunk road from Exeter into Cornwall. The recently opened Eden Project is 45 minutes away. Plymouth city centre is either a 35 minute drive or a foot ferry trip from Mount Edgecumbe Country Park approximately 10 minute drive from the chalet. HMS Sylla lies 3m down and approx 400m south, a former Navy Frigate, sunk at Easter 2004 to provide an artificial diving reef. Local pub food is of a very good standard with several places to choose from within a short drive - to say nothing of the Eddystone Cafe at the bottom of the cliff, right on the beach!!!. |
